To become a member, a person or organization must meet the eligibility requirements of the relevant category, submit the required supporting documents, and assume responsibility for payment of all fees each year.

Membership term and dues

The membership term is twelve months, from January 1 to December 31 of each year. The amount of annual dues is set according to the current pricing policy in place and approved by the Board of Directors.

Membership application processing and approval

The Board of Directors is responsible for the implementation of this policy and its assessment. Every application for membership is processed in four steps:

Step 1
After receiving a membership request, En Piste will assess it for compliance. The organization verifies that it is complete and that dues payment has been received.

Step 2
The membership application is submitted to an evaluation committee made up of members of the Board of Directors. This committee gauges if the applicant meets the eligibility requirements. It then provides a recommendation of acceptance or refusal to the Board of Directors.

Step 3
Upon recommendation of the evaluation committee, the Board approve or reject the membership of any new members per resolution made at its regular meetings.

Step 4
Once these three steps are completed, En Piste confirms the acceptance or rejection of the new member's request in writing within five working days. In the event of a refusal, the membership fee will be refunded.


A member whose membership has lapsed for less than 12 months may renew it by paying the necessary dues. No supporting documentation is required.

A member whose membership has lapsed for more than 12 months must resubmit a complete application for assessment of his or her candidacy by the selection committee in addition to paying the dues.

In case of injury or maternity leave, the new membership or membership renewal will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, according to the supporting documents submitted to the selection committee.
